Pray for something till it stops

This is a biggy… Here's an example.

Sue Price, a CMS volunteer, committed to wearing her Kitgum cross until the people of northern Uganda, traumatised by two decades of civil war, got peace.

CMS ran a big awareness campaign over three years on this subject back in 2003-5. Many people wore a Kitgum cross for a time. Sue is still wearing hers – because although things are much better, and many people are resettled, there is no proper peace agreement and the Lord’s Resistance Army is still terrorising people in the region.
