Hire a community skip

As a church, hire a skip.*

Do a flyer drop to let people know what you're doing.

Place it in a good spot in your community for a time (half a day or a day). Be around as people come and dump stuff in it or even take stuff from it.

It's a great way to find out who lives near you and to start easy conversations.

*There are plenty of eco-friendly companies who promise to recycle as much of the contents as possible and minimise the amount ending up in landfill. A quick internet search should be enough to find one.
