Think of those who picked the leaves while you brew up, often struggling for a better life, often with homes and schools tied to their jobs, and usually on very low wages...

pray for tea pickers while you have a cuppa

Of course, you don’t have to stop at the tea-pickers…

Pray for those without water as you clean your teeth. Pray for the rice-growers, the coffee-growers, the ….

You will have your own ideas.

What next?

Tea Pickers from Darjeeling, India
Most Tea Pickers from Darjeeling, India are paid low wages amounting to less than 1 US Dollar a day. Girls from such families are at a greater risk being trafficked due to poverty. Poverty cause girls to undertake risky migration for jobs or relationships ending up in abusive situations. Please pray that God will motivate and empower the local Church to prevent human trafficking in their regions.
