Peru church leaders

Message

Pray for the growing of leadership in the church of Peru, especially the role of our associate mission partner Ian Montgomery, charged by Bishop Bill Godfrey to mentor, teach, encourage and come alongside his clergy in Peru. "In 1998, there were just four Peruvian priests and one deacon looking after nine congregations, with the help of two ordained missionaries from overseas. Currently, Anglicans gather in 55 worshipping communities, led by 26 priests, 10 deacons and 23 lay ministers. About 23 students attend our seminary, preparing for ministry."
