From South Sudan, Pauline Walker writes, “continue to pray for the South Sudanese still in the north. More reports are coming in daily of young people being captured on their way to school or college, and being taken to the military barracks where they are trained to fight with the militia causing disruption in South Sudan. Pray for the areas in South Sudan being disrupted by these militia and by others, that the civic leaders will be able to bring calm and peace. Pray particularly for the church leaders as they play a key role in stabilising the society and bringing a settled harmony and peace among the people. Pray particularly this week for Jonglei area, where the Archbishop of the Episcopal Church of all Sudan (ECS) has played a key role in the peace talks going on to solve the conflict.”
