In Lahore last month, Shunila Ruth was attacked by four men, thrown against the wall causing her to roll down the stairs and hurt herself badly. She spent couple of days in the hospital but, thank God, she is now recovering. The burglars fled with her laptop and car keys. From the police investigations it has become clear that it was a deliberate attack on her to stop her from the courageous work of human rights which she does so openly and daringly without fear. Kindly remember her as she recovers and the entire Talitha Kumi Welfare Society (working to empower women to overcome violence) team as they overcome the intimidation in your prayers.
